VINTAGE 31" IVORY LINEN DAMASK TOWEL ~ ART NOUVEAU ~ LADY IN GARDEN - $12 - (Holland, NY)
Thanks for visiting us at THE CHARMED COTTAGE! Here is a beautiful vintage towel! I don't think this has been used. It's made of ivory linen damask with a design featuring a woman dancing in a garden underneath a pergola of grapes with birds flying nearby. The fabric appears to have a small amount of rayon in it. This towel measures 17" wide x 31" in length. It's in very good condition; no holes or worn areas. There are some faint imperfections in the fabric along the top, with some darker threads running through the fabric. It's possible this would come out when laundered, but I'm not sure. This is along the top of the towel, and does not show at all in the area of the design. Recently purchased from an old local estate, this is offered in 'as found' condition.
