I Love Lucy Barbie OOAK by Doll Artist Matthew Sutton Amazing Diva face Eyelash - $40 - (Fort Wayne, IN)

This auction is for a 1997 I Love Lucy Custom One-of-a-kind Barbie doll by doll artist Matthew Sutton in near-mint condition. This lovely doll was customized with great attention to detail, using the DIVA head mold. She has an amazing curly hairstyle and ROOTED eyelashes. I believe her costume was custom-made and sewn onto the doll. The shoes were painted black but have started to chip from age to reveal blue shoes underneath. The dress has a tag sewn in, signed by the artist (see photo #5). The back of the tag identifies this doll as "I Love Lucy II; #9". I know his Silkstone OOAK dolls are very popular at Convention.
