Very pretty, 20 inch, vintage 1960's "American Character" "Sweet Sue" doll for parts, or repair. She is a walker, with hard plastic head, legs and body, vinyl arms and hands. She has a rooted saran wig, blue sleep eyes with full lashes and beautiful face paint. Her hair is in the original style, with metal barrettes on each side. She has her original outfit, of a felt skirt, with grosgrain ribbon decorations, that snaps in the back and attaches in the front to the bottom button of the blouse. The patterned blouse, that buttons in the front has puffed sleeves. Taffeta full slip, that buttons in the back and has a tulle ruffle at the bottom. Taffeta pantaloons,with elastic waist and legs. Felt "half hat" with grosgrain ribbon decorations and elastic. The issues are: the head is detached, there are splits on both upper legs, there is a split in the side seam of the slip, the elastic is stretched in the pantaloons, the sleeves of the blouse and on the hat. There is a discoloration on the top of one sleeve of the blouse. The taffeta ruffle on the underskirt of the skirt is torn, as is the felt on the skirt in one place. There are tiny holes in one side of the hat. All these can be seen in photos. Non smoking home.
