FIUME 1918-1924 UNUSED SCOTT 29, 73, 93-94, E14, E16, P1 NEWSPAPER SPEC DELIV STAMPS. This auction is for seven unused stamps from Fiume dating from 1918 to 1924. The first four date between 1918 and 1920 and are unused stamps from Fiume featuring Italy, Gabriele D’Annuzio, Romulous and Remus suckled by wolf illustrations. They are: Fiume Scott 29, 73, 93, 94 stamps with gum. The next is from 1918, Fiume Scott P1, an unused imperforated newspaper stamp with gum. The final two date to 1924 and are unused Fiume Scott E14 and E16 special delivery stamps with gum featuring ‘Fiume in 16th Century.’ Any small black marks on any hinge remnants or stamps are from an album where printer’s ink stamp images (a few on each album page) left marks on the hinges and/or stamps hinged over them. The stamps came from a 1930 Scott album collection and were previously hinged and centering/condition is shown in scans (SEE IMAGES – digital scans of the front/back of the stamps).
