Here is a 100 watt HP 8924C Service Monitor in excellent condition. The difference in this unit and many others is: This is actually refurbished, all boards and modules are cleaned, wear parts replaced, this one has a new CRT, includes an NIST traceable calibration with full performance evaluation data, the newest V8.04 firmware, 180 day warranty. The calibration and performance evaluation is dated 1/04/2018. This automated evaluation with 20 pages of data is an assurance that this unit meets all original factory spec's. This unit has the 100W input that will handle 125 watts for shorter times. All pictures are the actual unit being auctioned. The CRT / Monitor assembly is new so you have no screen burns. The 8924C makes a great service monitor and does everything the 8920B does. It was originally made for CDMA cellular testing but it works like an HP 8920B. It's basically an 8920B with additional electronics to test CDMA. (You don't need to use the CDMA part) It has everything the 8920B has, including: sensitive "off the air" Receiver, AM, FM, SSB, Spectrum Analyzer, Tracking Generator, High Stability Reference, Signaling Encoder / Decoder that does CTCSS, DPL, EDACS, LTR, DTMF, POSCAG, Full Duplex, AM / FM, RF generator, Sinad, Distortion meters, Oscilloscope, 125 (100W continuous) watt built in Power Meter / dummy load. This unit includes the RF Tools Software Card that will work with a return loss bridge to do antenna analysis, distance to fault and more. RF Tools provides a frequency vs return loss (SWR) graph on the display to analyze your antenna system.The 8924C weighs 59 # and is heavier than the 8920 units and well built but not recommended for field use because of the weight.
