Vintage electric Universal Landers, Frary, & Clark Electric Sad or Flat Iron. This has a wooden handle and metal base. There is a metal tag attached below where the cord goes that says "Universal ~ Landers, Frary, & Clark ~ New Britain, Conn. U.S.A." It also says No. E-905, Patent Pending, 105/114 Volts, and 5.3 Amps.This vintage sad iron measures about 6 5/8 inches from tip of front to the back X 4 1/8 inches across the widest part X 5 inches high to the top of the handle. This weighs almost 6 pounds.
