Interesting unlisted variety of van Dam PET2e, watermarked pane showing 3 different roulette separation sizes, between tab and top stamp is roulette 13.6, between top stamp and second stamp is roulette 9.5, between second and third stamps is roulette 5.9 and between third and fourth is roulette 13.6. Careful examination of enlarged photo will clearly show the differences! Pane and tab show a vertical watermark which, in full, reads "HOWARD SMITH/ VICTORY BOND/ MADE IN CANADA". 2017 van Dam catalogue price for watermarked pane with normal separations is $40.00, this justifies a substantial premium.Pane appears never hinged.
