POSTCARD LOCOMOTIVE NO. 5320, "PRESIDENT CLEVELAND," OF B & O, CENTURY OF PROGRESS 1934You are bidding on the POSTCARD LOCOMOTIVE NO. 5320, "PRESIDENT CLEVELAND," OF BALTIMORE AND OHIO, which heads the railroad's Air-Conditioned train exhibited at A Century of Progress, Chicago, 1934. Completed in B. & O. Shops, Baltimore, October, 1929. Tractive power, 50,000 pounds. Drivers, 80-inches. Water tube firebox, 503 square feet of heating surface. Total weight of engine and tender, 569,500 pounds. Large drivers, low running board and concealment of piping and light machinery give the President Cleveland a strike appearance. Up until April 30, the locomotive had run more than 420,000 miles. The back of the post card reads P.S. - Be sure to come to the Fair! It's great!
