DESCRIPTION: This sax was recently acquired. Evidently it has been in a storage room for 47 years un-played. The owner states it was purchased new in 1968 (SN 150557) & played several years. It was damaged & repaired & re-lacquered & played another year & never played again. NOTE: The sax was dropped & stack bent. It was repaired & re-lacquered. It is now 100% straight & tone holes & posts repaired. I had the sax checked over by an excellent sax repair person. He was amazed at its condition. He replaced some felts & corks & did other adjustments. It is in excellent condition. There is no mouthpiece. It is a very resonant sounding sax with a big even balanced tone throughout its range. The repairman was very impressed with the sound of this sax. CASE: The sax comes with its original tri-pak zippered case in excellent condition. The case alone is valued at around $400.
