Vintage Texas Instruments Electronic Speak and Spell 1978 For parts/repair only - $25 - (Winnipeg, MB)

unit powers on but does not stay on. display works but not as intended. Sounds come out of unit, but are distorted. Missing battery cover, see pictures for details. message me for questions. unit is in good cosmetic condition. Battery terminals are discolored but not corroded. I am able to turn it on and have the screen light up and sounds come out of it. However it does not stay powered on and display and sounds are inconsistent.
