I created this original ornament measuring 6 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide, and approximately 3 inches thick, from handcrafted recycled paper. I then hand painted and sealed it with a polyurethane finish. This is an excellent work of art to give as a gift or to keep for yourself. This artwork is from the Dove's Nest Project collection. The Dove's Nest Project started with a desire to bring artists together to support community well being. Money made through art sales and workshop fees support such activities as programs for nursing home residents, therapeutic activities for children, and financial support for local charities.
