CHINESE EXPORT SILVER SAUCE BOATS c1820 WE/WE/WC 35 OUNCES A one of a kind set of c1820 Chinese export silver gravy boats. Only known pair in existence. From WE/WE/WC listed c1820. Period engraved family crest. Armoured raised hand wielding battle axe. Unique wide oval softly rising to spout. Hand chased grape and leaf borders to rim and base. Retains the original leaf cap hand carved fruit wood (?) handles. Chinese export silver gravy boats 9 1/2 inches & 35 1/2 (standard) ounces. Hallmarked as shown. In very fine condition. Rich silver patina. Retains original detail. Small loss to one of handles. SHIPS WORLD WIDE ..........................................................................................
