Offered is an overall excellent condition original six-sided sterling silver crystal inkwell which bears two 1944 London, England silver hallmarks. The fact that such a gorgeous inkwell was produced in London during World War II is a testament to the strength and resiliency of England during that time. I am unsure of the maker. The base shows scuff marks which are not visible when upright. The base measures about 2 1/2 inches from one straight side to another. The height is about 3 inches. Satisfaction guaranteed or return.
