These are 2 cast iron Wall Plaque Silhouettes made by Robert Emig. They are Martha Washington # 1592 and George Washington # 1553. They both have the Emig Signature on the back. They measure about 5 1/2" x 3 1/2". There is a hole at the top of each to hang them on the wall. Robert Emig founded the EMIG manufacturing Company in 1945 and continued until the 1970s. EMIG Company made cast iron items like trivets, bookends, sconces and many other items. Robert would either design new cast iron molds or reproduce copies of products from periods in history.
