Environmental Engineer/Scientist - (Blacksburg, VA)

BAE Systems is seeking an Environmental Engineer/Scientist to administer the regulatory compliance and protection program with an emphasis on air compliance to ensure timely regulatory compliance, business alignment, and that environmental objectives are met while maintaining cost effectiveness. Duties will also include emission reduction strategies, pollution prevention and waste minimization. This individual will provide regulatory guidance and support on the regulations including permitting, reporting, training, auditing and essments for both current processes and activities and projects. Duties will include: Preparation of reports and notifications Air emission and process data review Oversight of documentation Permit application preparation, submissions and responses Regulatory and permitting guidance to the facility Support of the Environmental Management System SDL2017
