Antique hand decorated Chinese brise fan. Very finely decorated with oriental scenes. The decoration is as good as it gets. This is a beautiful example. Gold gilt on black lacquer. Made in the Qing Dynasty, circa mid 19th Century (circa 1850's) The sticks are about 10 inches long. About 17 1/2 inches wide when open One stick has a hairline crack as shown (5th from one end). Otherwise fine, as shown.
