She reminded me of almost looking something like the English Celtic Warrior Queen Boudicci. See the next 3 photos which of course are not in the yearbook. Photo # 8 shows the statue of Quenn Boudicci in London. So who is Queen Boudicci: Queen Boudicca was the queen of the Celtic Iceni tribe of ancient Britain, and was known as a strong courageous woman who led a major rebellion the occupying Roman forces around 60 AD. Leading this uprising contributed to her importance as a figure of the ancient world. Knowledge of her comes from accounts in ancient sources such as Historian Dio Cassius and Historian Cornellius Tacitus, Photo # 9 shows another version of the Celtic Queen Boudicca looking very much like the warrior queen of Stephens College on page 117 of the yearbook. Queen Boudicca was known to have slaughtered a Roman army. She torched London, leaving a charred layer almost half a meter thick that can still be traced under modern London. According to the Roman historian Cornelius Tacitus, her army killed as many as 70,000 civilians in the cities of London, Verulamium and Camulodunum. The Boudiccan Revolt raged from 60 - 62 AD and saw British Tribes under Boudicca of the Iceni, unsuccessfully try to defeat the Roman Army.
