DOZER Dresser TD8G With Root Rake - $12,500 - (Millen, GA)
This is a solid Dozer that I bought before we did a land clearing and Dairy construction project. Used it about 300 hrs in the last few years but now have little use for it. It can push a lot of logs, brush and dirt. It is strong in every gear and always fires up instantly. The tracks probably have 25 to 35 % use yet. Should be a couple hundred hrs. I can’t see much difference in them since I got it. Everything works fine except the alternator, and since I use it infrequently I have just been charging it at the shop. But would only cost about $150 to replace it. The track tensioning grease cylinders kept leaking so I put pin through a collar on the shaft to keep them from loosing tension. All pressures and temperatures are in the proper range when running. I have greased and maintained this machine well so it should be ready to go without any trouble. Dresser Dozers are now serviced by Komatsu, as well as many aftermarket companies because a lot of these machines were built. You can ask for any info or pictures at 706,five,two,six,1911.
