The interior is painted with bats and a goodluck medallion. The finely potted bowl with rounded sides rising from a narrow straight foot to a gently flared rim, the exterior is of brilliant enamels of magenta, yellow, green, lavender, with a dense bouquet of mixed flowers including large clusters of chrysanthemum and lotus, surrounded by sprigs of hydrangea, pink, magnolia, hibiscus and aster, all blooming against a ground of gilt, with fours scenes of the seasons. This one of the fineset example of a Chinese Bowl we have come across. The foot rim has the blue key marks. There is a slight nick in the rim of this bowl which can be scene in the pictures. The bowl measures 3 1/4" height, 2 3/4" diameter base and a 7 1/2" width. Please look at all images and ask questions before bidding.
