Petrified "Calico" wood slab - Ellensburg, WA. Triassic period. This is a very unique unpolished slab of Calico Petrified Wood from Washington state. This is old stock and is from our private collection and was cut from a 28 pound log. Unique and colorful black, gray, white and brown "calico" colors with some zigzag grains. An extremely nice display, slabbing, or cabbing specimen. Absolute perfection. No cracks. No pits. Pictures were taken outside and wet.
