However, if you are interested in adopting this animal you may come in person to the shelter and place a reservation for the pet. In the event, the person is unable to pick-up the pet within a reasonable time and the hold expires then Public Animal Welfare Services will move to the reservation list. The reservation list will be on a 1st come and 1st serve basis and potential adopters will be notified in the order of the reservation. For example, if there are 3 people interested in adopting and there is no active hold on the animal then after the three-day stray hold is complete, we will notify the 1st person that placed a reservation if contact is not made then we will move to the next party on the list and so on.
