Senior ay Development Technologist Job - (Jackson, TN)

Design and optimize genotyping protocols for new and existing mouse strains utilizing standard PCR, qPCR, Endpoint, melt, and similar genotyping ays. *** Perform PCR and real time PCR genotyping of transgenic and targeted mutant mouse strains. *** Investigate and propose solutions for issues regarding ay design, protocols, outsourcing, and completed requisitions. *** Support process mapping, provide requirements, test prototypes, and liaise info between interdepartmental teams. *** Lead Quality Control processes for all requisitions completed by Transgenic Genotyping group and allocate daily workload. *** Address queries regarding ay troubleshooting. *** Conduct wet bench work to resolve and improve problematic protocols. *** Oversee work outsourced to third party vendors: send and receive requests, perform Quality Control activities on results, upload data, and serve as point of contact for vendor managers.
