1911 Gilded Gelatin Birthday PC-Bluebirds & Golden Basket of Violets by Church S - $3 - (Unionville, IA)

Here's a wonderful old embossed and gilded gelatin birthday postcard of pretty bluebirds and a golden basket filled with violets by a rural church scene, which was postmarked in 1911 and numbered 1650. There is a little corner wear with a little surface color worn off corner tips and spots on edges. There is a small spot on the front and the gelatin surface has some cracks and a little peeling starting on edges, but otherwise, it is in good+ condition. The lucky winner pays $1.50 shipping for 1 to up to 12 postcards in the US for purchases made within a single week. These will be sent in an envelope with cardboard. 13 to 35 postcards ship for $2.75. They will be in a bubble envelope package using eBay labels with tracking. I used to send all the cards that way, but changes the USPS just made, have made it cost as much to send 1 card that way as to send the 35.
