ANTIQUE POMPEIAN BRONZE CLAD MOUNTAIN LION - COUGAR CAT BOOKENDS - SIGNED - $40 - (Greenville, ME)

Here is a beautiful old pair of Pompeian Bronze Clad Lion Bookends made by Pompeian Bronze MFG. Company out of New York. They are each marked on the end with the Pompeian stamp, and there is also another mark on each one of them behind one of their front paw. I'm not sure if this is the artist mark? I can't quite make it out. Each one does have some issues. One has missing and lifting bronze on it's belly and the back of it's front leg. The other has a couple of small spots where the bronze is missing , one of these is on it's belly and one on the back of it's front leg also. They stand approx. 6 1/4" tall x 5 1/4" long x 3" deep.
