11R Bata Black Mickey Mouse, New, Bunny Boots, NEW, 0 to -20F, blemished, WARM! - $136 - (Delta Junction, AK)

This listing is for a pair of type I mickey mouse cold weather boots, Bata brand, NEW WITH DEFECTS. These boots do have valves which are totally useless unless you are airborne, they are rated 0 to -20 F.These boots are fine for most climates and are much lighter than the heavier and more insulated white bunny boots. You can add a wool sock and wool insole for colder weather and more warmth.We are in the hometown of the Army Cold Region Test Center and have been selling military surplus for over 12 years.These boots run large so these are the equivalent of a men's size 12 regular. Some people like dog mushers prefer the lighter weight of the black boots. These boots are the famous, long-lasting Bata brand. This pair is new, very good condition but has some small defects. There is very little damage to these unused boots and it should not affect the warmth in any way if properly stored indoors and out of the sun. The defect that I am seeing are some minor cracks around some of the grommets as shown in the picture. There are minor cracks at the tops of the boots, ( does not show up well in pictures). They are above the insulation and the lining and valves are intact in these new boots. There should still be a couple of good winter seasons in these boots since they are new, and in good condition except the stiffness of the rubber around the eyelets. The pictures shown are exact pictures of the boots listed, no stock photos. I would strongly suggest coating these small cracks with Aqua Seal or Shoe Goo BEFORE they are worn to seal out any moisture before it gets in.
