Armstrong Made in USA Model 104 Silverplated Flute - Beginner Closed Hole - $118 - (Brownfield, TX)

I am a brass player, playing trumpet and cornet for over 56 years. I did teach band for a while, in the 70's, but it has been a long time since I worked with woodwinds. I do occasionally come across woodwinds that I work with and eventually sell. This is one of them. I do test play all instruments, but I am NOT a woodwind expert. I can get the full range and good tone out of this instrument. The pads appear to me to be in acceptable condition, and the full range, from the upper range to the low (middle C on the piano) C will sound very clearly, indicating the pads and alignment are correct. I have attempted to provide closeups of the pads and keys, and hope you will look at the pictures to determine the condition of this instrument. Flute appears to be in very good condition. All pads seal, and the flute will play all the way down to low C, indicating proper seal and alignment. Tone is good. Pictures of the front and back of the flute tell the story. Flute looks really good, case is good. Keys are closed hole (Plateau keys) well suited for a beginner. An aftermarket Gator case is included, which fits well and seems to be in good condition. This flute is a good beginner instrument. Serial Number starts with 43 26XX, which I believe means it was made in 1993 (50 plus the first two digit number) and for its age appears to be in great condition. Armstrong, at that time, was under the Conn-King merger, and quality was quite good for student instruments. All payment via Paypal. Shipment outside the US will be by eBay Global Shipping program.
