Maintenance Mechanic - (Tifton, GA)

Direct Hire Maintenance Mechanic!!! Looking for background applicant in the metal finishing industry! Responsibilities: Provide support to maintenance team in correcting issues with the equipment and contribute to efforts of minimizing downtime Troubleshoot electrical and motor circuits, diagnose and resolve problems with the equipment including control panels, indicators, PLC, HMI, and VFD Maintain and modify PLC and HMI programs Maintain backup copies of PLC and HMI programs and document any changes made to the programs Read and interpret electrical drawings, equipment and systems manuals Seek ways to improve existing equipment and develop solution to illuminate repeated equipment failures Provide technical support and training on electrical and control systems Design, build and implement control systems as needed Wire control systems and motors, following all safety codes Follow all safety procedures and requirements Use a variety of hand tools and electric meters
