Public Engagement Manager - (New Orleans, LA)

Position title: Public Engagement Manager (PIO) Reports To: Director of Support Services FLSA Status: Exempt Compensation range: $50 - $60k This position is designated as Emergency Personnel and will be required to report for duty during declared emergencies of any size. Failure to report could result in immediate dismissal. Job Purpose/Summary of Position: Reporting to and under the direction of the Director of Support Services, the Public Engagement Manager (PIO) is responsible for integrating the agency’s communications and public relations programs and initiatives into a cohesive effort that conveys a consistent message in support of the agency’s mission, strategic goals, and objectives. The Public Engagement Manager (PIO) serves as the strategic advisor to the Executive Director with respect to communications and public affairs initiatives.
