An award pin given to a student who later became a teacher for her whole career.She also taught typewriting as one of her many other classes she taught.Measures 1/2X 1/2 inchenamel and copper metalvery detailed relief imagery showing a hand with wings typing, specifying speed plus accuracy required to earn the award.Printing on the award in extremely little (boy o boy they had good eyes back then)Imagine those old manual typewriters and those strong fingers yet speedy and accurate!No automatic correction in those days!She also played the piano for silent movies in her home town and played for the church also.Back side of pin is inscribed L.G. Balfour Co.
