This Steinway B has been meticulously cared and maintained, and is in a fantastic condition! Originally built in Steinway's golden age - 1930 (serial # 270118), it was completely rebuilt 10 years ago, and has been played very little. Actions and hammers were completely rebuilt and in great conditions. Sound board is in good condition. The sound is rich and warm. Ribs and down bearings are in great shape. Tuning pins are tight and have good torque. New key tops. Exterior is high glossy finish. Plate is also painted. It has been protected in a humidity-controlled room. Asking price: $24,900. (Steinway dealer valued it at $40,000, paperwork available).This is a great deal for a great piano! We have to part with it because of moving. Sold as is, no returns.
