Clinton, MO is a town of about 9,000 people on Truman Lake which is surrounded by hundreds of thousands of acres of public land. I moved here 5 months ago to escape Kansas City and I love it here. People are friendly, conservative, Christian and down-to-earth. Check out demographics online. I've rented rooms in my homes for over a decade and know what doesn't work. What I'm looking for is some who understands the golden rule & respects my property. What doesn't work are sociopaths, gamblers, heavy drinkers & those addicted to substances either legal or not. I smoke so a smoker is welcome. I have a dog that loves people but is aggressive towards other animals.
