Chase Handpainted Made in Japan Cherub Putti Katz & Besthoff K&B Price Tags - $15 - (Alexandria, LA)

This lovely cache pot or cherub planter is in excellent condition. No breaks, chips, cracks or repairs. It stands 6 1/4" tall with a 6" base and features a highly detailed cherub standing next to an ornate carriage that is decorated with pink cherry blossoms. The blue manufacturer's label on the base reads : CHASE HANDPAINTED MADE IN JAPAN. There are two retail price tags from Katz & Besthoff New Orleans. This was later known as K & B Drugs-a local landmark. The label on the base has the price of .98 written in faded ink. The label on the side of the carriage has darkened over the years and I can't read the price written on it. This is a family item, never offered to the public.
