Facility Technician - (Murrieta, CA)

Position description: Assists in the performance of duties necessary to keep the physical structure and associated equipment of Hospital in good repair. Performs preventative maintenance on some utilities, life safety inspections (fire extinguishers), and other equipment as qualified. Minor mechanical repairs and plumbing, drywall, painting, wallpapering, and other duties relating to maintenance. Job Specifications: Required Knowledge and Skills: Expertise to write routine reports and correspondence; to diagnose and perform maintenance on various machines, equipment and systems required. Expertise to work professionally with colleagues and other Medical Center employees in a manner that generates mutual respect and a professional work atmosphere. Expertise to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Calculate percentages, area, circumference and volume. Expertise to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry; apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
