Vintage WILSON Baseball Glove #31 "The Controller". Pro Model. Made in the USA. Denny McLain stamped signature in the pocket. All original. 12.5" pattern, Adult size for a Left Handed Thrower. Appears that a former owners name was blacked out long ago (faded) on the outside ring finger. No cracking, soft and flexible. Patch intact. Interior palm leather is smooth. Scarce collectible glove in very good condition, and not many left handed models exist. (Baseball not included). MAKE AN OFFER! This glove was manufactured by Wilson in 1969, the year after Denny won 31 games during the 1968 season (No pitcher had won 30 games or more since 1938) That same year the Tigers won the World Series, Denny was named the AL MVP and he won a Cy Young Award. He was right handed and batted right. He played 10 years 1963-1972 the first 7 years with the Tigers and the last three with the Senators, A's & Braves. He won the Cy Young in 1969 also.
