CHINESE EXPORT SILVER TEA CADDY c1885 LUENWO A fine, c1885 Chinese export silver floral tea caddy. Signed for Luenwo, Shanghai. In classic gently compressed circular form. Beautifully applied and hand chased royal chrysanthemum leaf and floral sprays encircling center. Well cast and snugly fit beaker form cover. The c1885 Chinese export caddy is 5 inches across and weighs a bit over 10 standard ounces. Fine condition. Rich silver patina, retains original detail. Few tiny nicks to edge cover rim and very tiny flat spot interior rim, barely noted. Hallmarked as shown. Sells world wide. North Carolina buyers pay sales tax.
