Valmetal – Agri-Mixer – Agrimetal Soil Mixer, Feed Mixer, Grain mixer Model: MTR MX120 220v - 5hp motor. Single phase. You can power the machine with a simple throw switch. Or if you plan on hundreds of uses per month you can purchase a magnetic starter(not included). The motor is farm duty and contains three caps. Two start and one run, it’s beefy. The motor alone is worth a grand. Approximately 5000 lbs weight. Exact weight is unknown. A 5k lift will work best to load. Capacity to mix up to 4 yards of material at a time. A little less if you are mixing aggregate or heavy wet soils. Run the machine for 3 minutes to mix then open the gate for discharging. The drag chain design unloads the product automatically. The chain will mix and unload on one direction. Prefect for dumping into bulk bins or super sacks. This machine recently had the plastic chain guides replaced and new belts installed. 3 day job. It was fully operational until 1-14-2019. One of the drag chain links broke. We were already in the process of buying a larger machine so this one is being retired. It will not be repaired before auction. The boards you see on the bottom of the machine are dams. These machines have plastic floors that will warp over time. The floors also have seams because they do not sell plastic material wide enough to install one large strip. Its sectioned into place. Without the foam the seams will cause a small amount if soil to sneak through. We placed wood boards around the base and filled it in with a high-quality foam for added support. It works lie a charm.
