Washington Cathedral - Mount Saint Alban - Washington, D.C. - Postmarked 1957 - $6 - (Vermillion, SD)

This is an old postcard of: Washington Cathedral Mount Saint Alban, Washington, D.C. The Cathedral as it will appear from the south when completed. From an architect's water color Worshipers and pilgrims are always welcome at the Cathedral. The card was written on and mailed. It was sent to Dr. A.L. Haines, Cherry St., Vermillion, So. Dak. It was postmarked in Arlington, VA, on July 5, 1957. It has two green one cent Washington stamps attached. The postmark reads "PRAY FOR PEACE". It is in fairly good condition. The corners are lightly bumped, and there is postmark ink on the front of the card.
