The enclosure has some scuff marks and scratches from use. Everything else is in great condition. We opened the detector's enclosure to ensure the components inside are in good condition. We saw no obvious damage and the parts appear to have been well protected. Testing We tested the detector by plugging it in and powering it on. The status blight blinked briefly, then both the lamp and status light remained solid. According to the manual, this indicates that the unit has passed all self-tests and is calibrated. We opened the faceplate to inspect the lamp, and could see a purple glow emanating from the lamp housing. Please note that we are not able to verify the running hours of the lamp bulb.This is the full extent of the testing performed. We do not have the equipment or expertise necessary to test further. As such, the detector is being sold as-is. We can only guarantee that the condition is exactly as described.
