The pencil is pre-loaded with one 0.9 mm HB (medium) graphite lead and one 0.9 mm red B (soft) lead. The plastic barrel is paneled (10 surfaces) providing a comfortable grip. Twist the front section to advance the lead - the lead is manually retracted. Autopoint's patented Grip-Tite point allows you to use the lead almost down to the very end.
