Cutbank is a Lemongrass & Sage scented handmade SPA Sulphur mineral soap. This fragrance has a strong lemongrass/citrus scent with subtle sage notes. Sale is for one bar of this soap. In the early 1800’s Captain Meriwether Lewis led a small group of men up the north fork of the Marias River, now known as Cut Bank Creek. The city itself actually began back in the 1890’s with the onset of the railroad and the building of a bridge across Cut Bank Creek. At this time the city was located on the west side of Cut Bank Creek. Several years later it was determined Cut Bank was located on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation, so the whole town was relocated to the east side of the creek. With the majestic Rocky Mountains on one side and gently rolling hills and wheat fields on the other, it’s no wonder visitors keep returning. This is one of our many fragrant bars of our handmade SPA Sulphur Mineral Soaps, made with Natural SPA Sulphur Mineral waters from the local hot springs. For hundreds of years, people have used these natural hot springs for health purposes. Many Indian tribes came to use these mineral waters to heal their sick. The chemistry of these mineral waters has frequently been praised and often compared to the Baden-Baden, a famous Spa in Germany, and it is said that these mineral waters are far superior. We have chilled the SPA Sulphur Mineral water, to remove the sulphur aroma, and used the water to make our Special SPA Sulphur Mineral Soap.
