~*~Hello and thank you for looking~*~ AMAZINGLY large, one of the , hand stitched, antique cart cover~*~18 pounds of hand woven , antique hemp! ~*~ Unbelievably large and lovely ! ~There are approximately 17 yards of the antique hemp used to make this textile!! This textile was once used as a large cart cover, it would have covered the farmer's cart when he took produce to market. this fabulous textile dates from the mid to late 1800's and is 100% hand stitched and hand woven. It's made of a wonderful, very heavy , nubby hemp! ~ The tone is a pale oatmeal tone ~ gorgeous flecks of natural linen !!~ there are intermittent stripes on this textile, which were the signature of the weaver!~ This textile is very very sturdy, machine washable, and wonderful used as a bed cover ( or multiple bed covers ! Sofa slip covers, upholstery fabric etc! They can be cut to be made into curtains, etc! ~*~ MEASUREMENTS : This gorgeous textile measures 96 inches wide by 160 inches long ~( cover 27) Condition : I've freshly laundered this wonderful textile and it's ready to use! Simply machine wash and tumble dry when needed. There are mottled pale marks on this textile in places, generally it's in fabulous condition, however the mottling might not be right for some projects ~ Please use the zoom feature to view condition closely ~*~
