Lower corner has severely browned and is brittle -- it is believe this might have been a blood stain on the pages. Text in the area is mildly affected/darkened, but not apparent major loss to the text itself. Binding is secure and, apart from the stain, this book is complete and in remarkably decent condition! PARRISH & WILLINGHAM 1993.This copy bears the ownership (in pencil) of George A. Owens, who was Assistance Surgeon for the 35th Regiment of North Carolina Infantry.
