Antique Edgar Bockman Swedish Art Deco Luster Glaze Faience Vase for Hoganas - $200 - (Fremont, MI)

A beautiful Swedish art deco faience vase designed by Edgar Bo¨ckman for Ho¨gana¨s Keramik circa 1920. It's colored in a swirling pink to deep rose to burnt sienna luster glaze with gold highlights on a cream colored field and is signed on the bottom. The glaze has an almost metallic iridescent look that Bo¨ckman is famous for but is hard to capture in photos. It subtly flashes and shimmers in the light and is in terrific condition. It has a very old label with "Hoganas Swedish Pottery" and measures 6" tall by 4.5" in diameter. It is free from chips, cracks or repairs. It has some light crazing and a few tiny studio blemishes.
