An awesome California Gold in Quartz nugget specimen. Weighing in at 46.8 Grams, this specimen falls into the rare category for the natural gold in quartz specimens. Belonged to a friends great-uncle who had passed away a few years back. They just finished going through his boxes and boxes of collector rocks and tools of the tradec and the nugget specimen for sale in this auction was one of three gold in quartz nuggets they found (this is the smallest!).
