The bed offers a wonderful display of hand painted floral art on an very high decorative Baroque headboard.The 2 night stands are painted as well with faux painted tops in a marble pattern. Night stands have removable glass tops offering protection for their painted finish. The overall condition of the paint is extremely good. The set dates from the 1920s or 1930s. Please note as with all European bed sizes inside bedding sizes are not consistent with US sizes. This specific bed opening 77 5/8 Inches long x 60 Inches wide, US queen is 60 Inches x 80 Inches long. As you can see bedding size is slightly smaller than US queen. In this case many of our customers decide to purchase special order bedding if they do not already have twin bed bedding.
