MADE BY MOORE, 550 BROADWAY, CIRCA 1856-59 12" TALL (base to handle) X 16" WIDE(handle to handle) 9.75" WIDE (side to side). 4.5" DEEP HUGE 73.3 OZ (4lb 9.3oz) VERY RARE MUSEUM QUALITY! This is truly a unique, rare object. This is the classic Greek Key pattern by Moore with some beaded decoration also. Hallmarked on the base with two old english "M" and "550 Broadway" and English Sterling 925-1000 (all as photographed), this mark was used between 1854-70. However, the pattern number is 472, which dates this peice more precisely to c.1856-59. This is truly a Tiffany Moore masterpiece!
