Classic, antique out-of-print book. Offered here is this copy of A Treatise on Trout for the Progressive Angler by Charles Z. Southard. This is a 1931 First Edition copy printed by Dutton & Company. There are 267 printed pages and a sepia-toned frontis photo of the author. The book is literally crammed full of material about the biology of trout and trout fishing in general. The overall condition of the book is very good. The binding is tight and the pages are clean. As one might expect of an antique book this old, the inside covers and cover pages are foxed. There is also an inscription inside the front cover as can be seen in photo two. The dust jacket is faded and has some tattering along its edges nd it did a reasonably good job protecting the covers and spine. Questions are always welcome.
