If your horse does not stand quietly for the farrier, this hobble will teach them patience. It does not hurt them in any way. My filly shown can jump in and out of her old trailer shelter. Other pluses are they build up the forearm muscles AND it would be great for bulking up a good halter horse. My filly taught herself to rock her weight back over her hocks and pivot. I also make a larger one for taller horses since my filly is 14.2 and 850 lbs at a higher price.
