Release Engineer - DevOps - (Lexington Park, MD)

DCS is seeking a Release Engineer to support the Weaponeering and Stores Planning software engineering effort. Essential Job Functions: Create and manage Team Foundation Server (TFS) Build, Test, and Release infrastructure and system components. Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to understand their needs and produce build/test/deploy solutions that assist them. Create and manage real and virtual resources for team use. Create physical media of shippable software product, which requires the handling of classified info. Create and maintain virtual deployment environments for customer feedback loops. Keep up with rapidly changing DevOps landscape and advise on tools and process that could increase efficiency and customer value. Develop gap analysis, impact analysis and/or migration plans for new technologies or upgrades to current technologies. Necessary skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related qualifications, U.S. Citizenship is required. Bachelor's degree plus four years of background is required.
