TORRES VEGA - NO MONOGRAM * * * * For sale is a vintage solid sterling silver oval serving tray with a gadrooned border hallmarked VEGA, Mexico City, Mexico (attributed to A. Torres Vega). This elegant oval tray is 17-1/2" long by 12-7/8" wideby 5/8" high. Weighs a hefty 1,106 grams. Hallmarked VEGA, MADE IN MEXICO, STERLING 925 as well as the Eagle Number stamp for MEXICO CITY (1). This is a vintage was made/designed by A. Torres Vega. According to a knowledgeable source his personal hallmarks include "VEGA", "T. VEGA", and "A. TORRES VEGA". Condition is really very nice for a used serving tray. Obviously hand made with the original patina, only minor scratches and dings from past use. There is no monogram.
